When all measurements are in feet, the result will be in cubic feet.

Suppose your bed requires 18 cubic feet and your chosen soil comes in 1.5-cubic-foot bags.

Always calculate using the actual volume shown on the package rather than estimating based on bag size or weight.
Two bags that look similar can contain different volumes.
